Still, every time I launch Dropbox, I need to insert my login password to give Dropbox permission twice in a row, as if them being new folders created daily by CCC may require me to give Permission. For example, right now, I have no errors. The problematic files sync themselves around 5pm of the day when the problem arose (so about 6-7 hours after the issue appeared), regardless of CCC being there or not. No, I've not tried the sudo commands yet. I stress the fact that CCC's cloning tasks have been there for years and never have they given any problem before. The problematic folders/files are not always the same everyday but there are always some every day and at every system startup I get greeted with the alert where Dropbox is asking me (repeatedly) to give permissions to write into Users//Dropbox.īut I really do not like all those "sudo"s and I do not think this is the issue. Now, these files are always part of the "CCC_SafetyNet" folder created by the Carbon Copy Cloner app while cloning specific folders of my Mac to Dropbox, something that I have been doing for years and that has never caused any issue. It stays there syncing forever until about one day later when those X files (normally 2-3, usually folders) finally sync and are substituted by other problematic files. Since about 2 weeks, every day, I get the "Couldn't sync 2 files" warning in the Dropbox app on my Mac (screenshot attached).
